She has also been certified as a ReCODE and PreCODE Practitioner — administering a program to help stop, prevent and even reverse symptoms of Alzheimer's and dementia.

Introducing the Science of BrainTap®!
The modern world bombards our brains with an overwhelming amount of inputs and stressors. Our brains are struggling to adapt. A lack of brain balance means many of us are anxious — looking for energy in the wrong places and struggling to get a good night's sleep.
Our Applied Functional Medical Certified Practitioner can introduce you to the technology of BrainTap® — which combines a variety of proven methods to restore balance to your brain for optimal performance of mind and body.
What is BrainTap®?
Central to the technology is the concept of brainwave entrainment. Using an app and BrainTap® headset, you'll be exposed to rhythmic beats, tones, guided visualization, holographic music and light frequencies. Your brain will naturally synchronize with the external rhythms — creating full spectrum brainwave activity.
Benefits include:
-
Improved clarity: the power to maintain perspective, think clearly and learn quickly.
-
Quality sleep: the tools to get to sleep fast and sleep deep.
-
More energy: the ability to recharge your system, accessing new energy and motivation.
Prior to using the BrainTap® technology, Karin will perform a heart rate variability stress assessment to evaluate your body's ability to cope with internal and external stress. The resulting data can provide insights into your physiological response to stress and overall well being.

ReCODE & PreCODE
Alzheimer's dementia may be treated using the Bredesen Protocol® through Apollo Health's ReCODE (reversal) and PreCODE (prevention) programs. Karin Mullooly has been trained and certified in this program to fight cognitive decline and guide participants toward optimal brain health.
The encouraging results of the study, "Precision Medicine Approach to Alzheimer's Disease: Successful Pilot Project" — using these protocols — were published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. In the study, Dr. Bredesen and other integrative physicians studied participant's genetics and biomarkers to derive the optimal personalized approach for each. Eighty-four percent of the trial's participants showed cognitive improvements in this first-of-its-kind study.
Nutrition is a key pillar of this approach, and as a ReCODE 2.0 Certified Nutritionalist, Karin will guide you through with clarity and compassion.

Karin Mullooly, Applied Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner
My holistic journey began 16 years ago when dietary changes helped my speech-delayed son, then considered on the spectrum, make remarkable progress. That life-changing experience sparked my deep belief in the body’s ability to heal and set me on a path to support others in their wellness journeys.
I’m a ReCODE 2.0 Certified Nutritionist, Board Certified Applied Functional Medicine Practitioner, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and Gut Health Nutrition Specialist. I work independently with clients and collaborate closely with their primary care or ReCODE 2.0 Certified physicians to support them on the Bredesen Protocol®. My work centers on personalized care that integrates functional testing, red light therapy, sauna therapy, and BrainTap to address root causes and optimize cognitive and overall health.
At the core of my work is personalized nutrition—helping clients with glucose and ketone monitoring, meal planning, and sustainable habits. My approach is root-cause-focused, collaborative, and supportive, empowering each client to take charge of their health and build lasting wellness.
