Instead of using stove heating a pile of rocks as in a traditional sauna, an infrared sauna uses infrared lamps to create warmth. The process allows the sauna to operate at a lower temperature. A traditional sauna usually heats between 150°-195°F, while the infrared sauna is generally set between 110°-135° — more comfortable for the user.
Full-Spectrum Infrared Heaters in the sauna emit near, mid and far infrared wavelengths, providing a wide range of therapeutic benefits:
  • NEAR infrared - has a lower micron level and penetrates the epidermis layer of the skin, leading to improved cell health, renewal of skin, tissue growth and inflammation reduction.
  • MID infrared - penetrates the body tissue leading to increased blood flow and circulation, reducing muscle and joint pain.
  • FAR infrared - penetrates the deepest into the tissue to break down toxins. Activates the sweat glands to help the body to eliminate toxins.

As the infrared waves penetrate your body, you will feel a pleasant internal warming sensation. Over time, you will begin to perspire. The heat causes a release of endorphins from your brain, leaving you relaxed. The heat also causes your blood vessels to expand, improving circulation and enhancing your body's immune and cellular systems.

Health benefits from infrared therapy may include detoxification, weight loss, improved circulation, pain relief, and improved sleep.
